I am so honored to have been a part of Rosie + Dan’s beautiful, intimate wedding. R+D had an incredible day surrounded by their immediate families. The bride and groom live in sunny Florida, so I didn’t meet them until the day of their wedding, but their deep love for each other was immediately obvious, compounded all the more by the fact that their day focused on that simple principle and not all the “stuff.” I’m pretty sure R+D would’ve been happy to be married in their pajamas, and their day was truly about the marriage and spending the rest of their lives together. It was beautiful.

We spent a lot of time on the preparations, which was wonderful. It was so exciting to witness it all and to feel the emotions building until the moment R+D would see each other for the first time!

Rosie and her father are really close, so they set aside a special time to see each other for the first time.  So very sweet:

Rosie Hatfield - You’re right, Amanda. Our rings were made by Brenda at Embellir in Mendota Heights. They’re made to look like the Cartier rings. They are white, yellow and rose gold. I love mine – so comfortable and unique!

Kay McNamee - Laura, these are wonderful photos, and I can’t wait to see the rest! You captured perfectly the deep richness of love and emotion that Rosie & Dan share. The setting was perfect for these 2 soul mates. You are an awesome photographer. Thank you!
