Seriously gorgeous.
Thanks for your nice comments everyone!
Amy, there are a few film shots mixed in this post, but most were captured digitally. The first diptych, for example, is film.
Laura, this is one of my favorites!!! Did you do it all in film? I love the color of everything!
I LOVE her shoes! Beautiful location!
Awesome session, Laura! The lighting is beautiful.
Laura! Awesome as usual. Love the location and choice of outfits!
These are awesome. Love the pink/blue (and the reverse of traditional girl/boy colours!)
These are gorgeous!
[...] I think when most American’s think of traveling to Europe, Bulgaria isn’t even on their radar, which is unfortunate, because it is truly a beautiful country and still very affordable! It’s a very popular ski destination in the winter and seaside destination in the summer amongst other Europeans. Having traveled there is both seasons, I can attest to the great things to see and do. You can check out some of my past travels to Bulgaria here & here and you can’t check out a lifestyle session I shot there here. [...]
Trisha and Scott were married in beautiful Riviera Maya, Mexico! I was so honored and excited to photograph their beautiful, intimate destination wedding. You can check out their wedding pictures here. (Yes, their wedding was back in February and I am quite late with this post.) I blogged some of the film from their Just Married session, but I neglected to publish “part II.” So, here it is. Better late than never. I hope you enjoy- makes me miss Mexico!

While, I was in Vegas, in addition to coordinating a shoot, I also got to participate in one! My fabulous roomie, Amy (for two years in a row!) organized an amazing shoot with a beautiful couple in Pahrump, Nevada. Jessica and Tony are engaged in real life, and are so obviously in love; it was so awesome having them as models. Thanks to everyone involved!

These are all film! My first session shot in 100% film (as in, didn’t even bust out the digital camera). LOVE FILM!
LOVE all the photos Laura! Were these the film? These are some stunning shots!
Man I love a soft, feminine shoot. Gorgeous.

so awesome. almost looks like tuscany!
Lovely!! Love the new colors of the blog, too!
GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS! I have no other words to describe these. You never cease to amaze and inspire me Laura!
While I was in Las Vegas, Nevada for WPPI, I wanted to exercise my creativity and utilize the change of landscape by styling a shoot! I hired models, bought a gown, had fun picking out accessories and attire and organized a group of 8 of my photographer friends for a group shoot in the desert. It’s always fun to do group shoots because it’s a great way to connect with other photographers and learn from each other! You may recognize the groom- I met him last fall while at the Jose Villa/Gene Higa workshop in Tuscany, Italy. You can see some of the photos here & here. Gio flew all the way from Italy for WPPI and graciously modeled for us. Lots of people contributed to this shoot and I want to recognize their hard work and effort! Seriously, we had a dream team!

I have to give a BIG thank you to Catherine at Weeds Floral Design. I gave her about 5 adjectives and
complete creative freedom and she somehow crafted this beautiful bouquet. Absolutely love her work!

That bouquet is to die for! I love her look – and his too!
Wow! These are so beautiful Laura! Every time I look at your website I am just blown away! You are so talented, and I cannot wait to have you photograph our wedding!
Love, Love, Love! Beautiful images. You are so super talented.
Oh wow, that is a GORGEOUS shoot! *sigh* Every year I go to Vegas I plan on visiting this location and yet every year I don’t get the time. Next year I will go for sure! You did an amazing job, and I’m so jealous of your trip to Tuscany, I wanted to go last year but had weddings booked at the same time!
So many great images Laura! It was so much fun looking through them all. Thank you so much for inviting me to tag along with you at this shoot. I hope I have even a quarter of all the great images you captured!
Gorgeous! I love it! The florals are stunning, and the styling and photography are lovely, too!

I love it Laura! You did an amazing job styling the shoot and the images are stunning. Such inspiration!
The truck, chair and bouquet are perfect and the image with the bride in the bushes is so serene.
Amazing Laura!!! You nailed it! You’ve refilled my inspiration tank to full. Well done!
What I LoVe! The “groom” is a total stud! lol. The “bride” is totally gorgeous! Love the way you styled her hair. The old buildings, the old bus, and…who am I kidding, I LoVe Everything! Laura, this shoot was awesome! Great job:)
These are fantastic! I can’t wait to see the film. Thanks a million for arranging this- you did a crazy beautiful job. WPPI was a hit, until next year
Laura – Amazingly beautiful. Romantic and sweet as always! I am so impressed with the way you styled it. Congrats – this is beautiful.
Great styling! The belt is lovely- it is the perfect statement to such a simple, modern gown. It really makes the look unique. Also, the boots were a nice touch
Love the entire look!
Way far exceded anything I imagined. WOW!…. I am so honored to be part of this shoot. Perfection…what else can I say? Too many to choose a favorite, but if I had to.. I’d pick the one where they are standing at the bottom of the stairs with his arm around her and she is looking down. It feels like magic.
I am in love….your talent amazes me every post!
Laura,
These are truly incredible. I love love the shot of Brittani up against the tree thing (5 from the bottom) and love the shot of them with the red bus. Great job!
JAW DROPPING GORGEOUS!! Super work Laura!
Oh wow. I LOVE the bouquet. And her HAIR. The braid is so… interesting! I want to do that to my hair too!!
Absolutely beautiful work. I have so many favorites!
Wow! Amazing! We would love to feature this shoot on Southwestern Bride! Let us know!
These are fantastic! On a personal note, when can we go shopping together????
Wow, Laura! Fantastic! I also heart the one of her in the tree/bush, but I also love the one of the two of them with her standing in the door of the bus. I can’t help but think of the shoot we did last July. It’s got the same rustic feel about it even with the different landscape. A lot of the styling is similar, too.
Love the simplicity and the colors!!! What a beautiful landscape!
I think you missed your calling as a stylist. Gorgeous.
Brilliant organisation, Laura! These images are gorgeous, all the design, all the posing, the expressions! You nailed everything in these! Fantastic for sure!
awesome work!
Whoa!!! I love love love all of them! My favorite is Brittany in the mangled looking tree!
WOW! I totally love the one of the bride in the tree/bush…so beautiful! Awesome work!
LOVE it Laura…GREAT color scheme!!
so incredibly beautiful Laura!
LOVE seeing your photos Laura!! Thanks for all your hard work on this shoot! I had a blast and got some great images!
