I am so, so, SOOOO excited to be published once again, this time in the fabulous Minnesota Bride Magazine! Brides to be, and anyone in the industry, if you aren’t reading this magazine, I’d recommend rushing out and buying a copy of this magazine as soon as possible! Minnesota Bride is one of my favorite magazines and a great resource for anyone planning their area in the great state of lakes! One of my goals for 2010 was to be published in this magazine and so I’m so thrilled to have THREE features in the Fall/Winter issue!

First up, Jill & Matt’s beautiful winter wedding was chosen to be featured! You can check out more of Jill & Matt’s wedding photos here. Jill & Matt put a ton of time and effort into hosting a amazing affair with tons of beautiful details and I loved being a part of their big day.

My photographs were also featured for a great article on farm weddings. All of the photos featured are from Jess and Zach’s gorgeous, rustic wedding at the Round Barn Farm in Red Wing, Minnesota last fall. I absolutely LOVE farm weddings, and if you’re planning a wedding at the Round Barn Farm, I am dying to shoot there again! Jess was interviewed for this article and there is a ton of great advice, so pick up a copy of the magazine and read for yourself!

Lastly, I was interviewed for an article on boudoir photography, and my photos from Sandra’s session were featured! Because of the private nature of boudoir sessions, I don’t blog a ton of my work, but boudoir photography actually makes up a HUGE part of my business and I shoot a TON of boudoir sessions, so it was an honor to be interviewed. The article highlights a variety of FAQs about boudoir sessions and gives lots of helpful advice from women who have actually had boudoir photos taken and industry professionals. By the way, Unveiled Styling is responsible for Sandra’s hair and makeup, and boudoir clients or brides-to-be, if you’re in need of an awesome hair and makeup artist that comes on site for you, I love working with Unveiled!

I receive countless questions and frantic emails from my clients when it comes to their engagement sessions! Anything from clothing choices, to locations, to “can I bring my dog [fill in the name here].” I am always happy to help answer any questions, but start by heading over the Minnesota Bride Magazine Blog to read this cool post that features a few of my images and thoughts on engagement sessions!

For those of you that didn’t know, I love reading blogs! I read all sorts of blogs- photography blogs, wedding inspiration blogs, design, decor, among others. Well, I recently had the privilege of meeting a very cool Minneapolis blogger who heads up a very fancy site appropriately titled Live the Fancy Life. Jessica, the mastermind, writes about all sorts of fancy things to do and places to go in the Minneapolis area and believes that anyone can live a fancy life regardless of how much money you make or where you live! I highly recommend reading Jessica’s blog!
